Location

The Hotel Baltic in central Rome offers a fantastic base from which to get the best out of the city by day or night and we’re extremely well connected. Take advantage of our competitive airport transfer service, just €55 to pick up a family of four and €50 to drop off - leave us a note when booking here on the Hotel Baltic official website real time booking system and we’ll be in touch. Alternatively, for a more gritty traveller experience you can arrive by public transport.

The city’s main airport is Fiumicino (FCO), also known as Leonardo da Vinci, and is located on the coast about 30km away. By day you can take the Leonardo Express train to Termini or the considerably cheaper regional train to Tiburtina - in either case you’re just a short metro ride from Castro Pretorio. From Castro Pretorio Metro take Via San Martino della Battaglia and turn right onto Via Palestro. At the end of the street turn left and you’ll be on Via XX Settembre just a few steps from the 2 star Hotel Baltic in the heart of Rome. By night there’s a coach service to Termini, although the Metro finishes at 12.30 (1.30 am on Fridays and Saturdays).

GETTING TO THE HOTEL BALTIC ROME AND AROUND THE CITY:
As mentioned above, the low-cost Hotel Baltic Rome is extremely well connected thanks to our great central location and that makes getting here really easy, no matter where in the eternal city you might find yourself at the end of the day. Rome’s main public transport hub is Termini Station and this is also where the Metro Lines A and B converge. Hotel Baltic is closest to Castro Pretorio Metro Station, but if the Metro is out of service you can walk from Termini in about 10 minutes. Buses 38, 60, 61, 62, 66, 82, 90, 92, 223, 360, and N4 all pass nearby.
